Overview of the Genie S-40 HF Telescopic Boom Lift

The Genie^® S-40 HF high float telescopic booms are designed to perform heavy-lifting tasks in sensitive turf conditions, such as sand and turf ground conditions. Engineered to “float” on soft or delicate surfaces, the Genie S-40 HF booms protect softer surfaces during operation that could be damaged by the regular rough-terrain tires.

Key features of the Genie S-40 HF Telescopic Boom Lift

This new generation of Genie HF booms has the productivity features that enhance customers’ ability to get work done quickly, including:

• A virtual pivot primary boom that aligns the machine’s center of gravity for lower machine weight – 13,544 lb (6,143 kg) on the Genie S-40 HF
• 4WD and positive traction drive maintains equal power to all drive wheels
• 45% gradeability (stowed) for driving on slopes1
• 60˚ platform rotation and 360˚ continuous rotation turntable for quick, precision positioning

Applications of the Genie S-40 HF Telescopic Boom Lift

• Outdoor construction sites: Ideal for projects on soft ground such as coastal areas, sandy terrain or unfinished construction sites. The S-40 HF is also designed for installation, inspection, and maintenance tasks at power stations, wind turbines, telecom towers, or oil and gas fields,… in remote locations and on unstable surfaces.
• Industrial factories: Used for construction and maintenance of electrical, lighting, fire protection systems, pipelines, and steel structures,… at outdoor factories or developing industrial zones where the ground has not been firmly constructed.
• Resorts, parks, and golf courses: Supports landscape maintenance, installation of lighting systems, cameras, or decorations,… without damaging grass surfaces or natural surroundings.
