- SKYCODED™ Technology on SKYJACK Scissor Lifts
- SKYCODED™ is Skyjack’s proprietary control and diagnostic system, developed based on the company’s “Simply Reliable” philosophy. One of the most notable features of SKYCODED™ is its numbered and color-coded wiring system, which enables technicians to quickly identify circuits and troubleshoot issues efficiently. This is one of the key characteristics that has helped establish Skyjack’s strong reputation in the aerial work platform industry. Each wire on the machine is assigned: A unique color code A unique wire number A standardized identification system across the entire product range For example, a wire controlling the lift function on an SJ3219 will carry the same identification code as the corresponding wire on other Skyjack models, enabling technicians to quickly trace electrical circuits and diagnose issues more efficiently. The SKYCODED™ system provides onboard diagnostic messages and fault codes, enabling operators and technicians to quickly identify machine status and troubleshoot issues. When a fault occurs, the system displays a specific diagnostic code, such as: 111 – PINPAD 137 – LOW BATTERY 112 – EVERYTHING OK Technicians can identify the cause of a fault directly on-site without the need for complex diagnostic equipment.
